This test measured the inhibition of binding of iodinated
p11C peptides to cells containing a Mamu-A*01 MHC I allele.
This demonstrates the relative affinity of the test peptide
(mutant p11C) to the Mamu-A*01 MHC I compared to the wild
type p11C. The p11B protein is a negative control that should show
no binding inhibition. The wild type p11C, at all levels,
showed greater inhibition of binding than did the mutant
form. It was determined that the mutant form had greater
than 100 fold lower affinity for Mamu-A*01 MHC I than did
the wild type. From the graph, how does p11C compare with p11C*
(mutant)? What conclusions could you draw from this?
