Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve, Big Sur Coastline
Monterey Co., CA – January 18, 2003

Highlands Camp, where we camped under the full moon. The night was beautifully calm and relatively warm for us, with no black flies at this time of year during the daytime (hooray!). Plus, we camped above the fog belt that rolled in on our second day at Big Creek. See here for maps, including the green relief map showing Highland Ridge well, even if the camp site is not labeled.
