This is an asexually dividing serpulid polychaete, Salmacina tribranchiata, we call the shredded wheat worm,
plus many Tegula funebralis (black teguline snails).

These are probably southern finger limpets (Lottia
austrodigitalis), not the similar northern finger limpets (L. digitalis). The two species transition in central California but it is
not a simple latitudinal pattern, and high intertidal rock ecomorphs are generally more likely to be southern finger limpets.
