Stenoplax conspicua juvenile	A polychaete worm, Eteone pacifica, in the family Phyllodocidae. Thanks to polychaete expert, Leslie Harris (Nat. Hist. Museum of L.A. Co.), for help with the identification. More details on this worm are here.	-

Lepidozona pectinulata	-	-
-	-	Anthopleura sola (sunburst anemone) is our only local species (of three) in this genus that has this occasional electric neon morph. As far as I know, it does not glow in the dark.
-	Crepipatella lingulata (half-slipper snail)	-
The color of a juvenile Aplysia californica (California sea hare) reflects its diet. This one has probably been eating red algae.	-	-
