The values are means of triplicate experiments. The standard deviation (SD) is less than 0.59 for each sample. open square - M2V27T; , dark square-M2A30P; +, M2S31N; open triangle, M2del29-31; open cirlce , wild type.

 
**There is no difference in growth between the wild-type and the point mutation M2 mutants.
