Unidentified hermit crab - possibly Isocheles pilosus - compare here and here and note that the bryozoan is just starting to grow on this Pteropurpura shell. Hermit crabs are known to have associations with bryozoans but this one could be unstudied (see Williams & McDermott 2004, JEMBE 305:1-128). Other images of this same crab: 1 - 2 - 3.
