Kenneth S. Norris Rancho Marino Univ. of Calif. Ecological Reserve, Cambria, San Luis Obispo Co., California, March 1-2, 2003
Rancho Marino is habitat to a large forest of native Monterey pines (Pinus radiata), the southern-most natural remaining forest of this species range (although this is the most widely cultivated pine in the world, e.g., New Zealand and South Africa, and the species historically was native on two Mexican islands).
