The application process

After reading about the projects, decide which are your top three choices of location (e.g. England - Oxford University, Department of Biochemistry, and St. George's Hospital Medical School or Department of Physiology and the Dunn Human Nutrition Unit at Cambridge University) and at each location your first two choices of research mentor and list them (PI and college) in rank order on your application form. If you are selected, the Advisory Board will make every effort to match your requests to the openings available. However, the director may have to contact you in case it is necessary to consider an alternative location or project other than those you initially selected.
