Graduate Programs in Biological Science

The Department of Biological Science supports two graduate degree programs:

Master of Science Program in Biology (MSB)

Graduate students in the Master of Science Program in Biology conduct research under the guidance of a faculty mentor in the Department of Biological Sciences, culminating in the writing and defense of a Master's thesis.

Master of Biotechnology- Program for Applied Biotechnology Studies (PABS-MBt)

The PABS-MBt is a Professional Science Master's degree program offered through three California State University Campuses: Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Los Angeles, and Cal Poly Pomona. The program is based primarily on coursework and completion of an industry-assigned team project.
