At Present, the magnifications of the electron micrographs above are not shown. Since, everyone uses different type of display monitors, their magnification will vary. So, I'm in the process of putting calibration bar on the photos.

SEM of a small ocean mollusc (Atlanta fusca). The original size of the whole animal is about 2 mm.

TEM of a section of sperm tails cut in cross section as they were in the sperm duct of a sea squirt (Ascidia ceratoides).

TEM at higher magnification of picture #2. Notice, the axoneme 9 + 2 arrangement is clearly visible.

TEM of serial sections of the sperm head of the sea squirt (Ascidia ceratoides).

SEM of a scale from the wing of a butterfly (Papilio Eurymenden).

SEM of scales from the wing of a butterfly (Papilio Eurymenden) at medium magnification.

SEM of scales from the wing of a butterfly (Papilio Eurymenden) at low magnification.

SEM close up of one of the cornicles of an aphid (Aphididae).

SEM of a contact pad of an integrated circuit.

SEM of the 8088 microprocessor chip.

SEM of an aphid on a leaf. Notice the stylet piercing the surface of the leaf. Also you can see many stomata on the leaf.
