R/V Yellowfin Cruise Off San Pedro
Los Angeles Co., CA – February 22, 2002

Palaemon macrodactylus (the oriental shrimp) was introduced
from Asia in the 1950s in San Francisco Bay (pdf reference);
It might be a relatively new invader to southern California (see
this map) but has previously been reported from as far north as
Coos Bay, Oregon.
