1. Mutant types were purified from host cells

2. Purified viruses were lysed.

3. Viral proteins were denatured with 2-MCE reagent.

4. SDS-PAGE separated viral proteins by molecular size.

5. Western blot measured the concentration of M2 proteins as a relative percentage compared to the wild-type.
